FUZED continues to contribute to better conditions for sustainable gaming. Thanks to our ongoing work with the city of Helsingborg, we can now announce a new collaboration with three upper secondary schools, offering esports education for students in Helsingborg — starting fall 2023.
"We have a unique opportunity thanks to the unique esports facility created by Helsingborg and FUZED. This gives us the preconditions to start esports at our schools. Since we all strive for a more healthy lifestyle and gaming habits for children and students, we are very happy about the collaboration," said Cecilia Wickenberg Rosengren, Head of Operations at Gymnasiet Helsingborg Stad.
"Performance in esports is linked to nutrition, sleep, and training, just like in other sports. We have already launched esports training for children, and when Helsingborg's upper secondary schools contacted us, we said yes immediately. FUZED now offers structured training sessions, from grassroots level up to high school, and with our Health and Education Manager Oskar Hemby ensuring that we maintain the highest standards, the future of Swedish esports looks bright," says Karl Sergel, CEO and co-founder of FUZED.
